The announcement was made today by Epic Pictures Group CEO Patrick Ewald and Co-Founder Shaked Berenson, who also financed the film which was shot on location in Israel. You can check out our interview with The Paz Brothers here.Įpic Pictures Releasing will release the acclaimed award-winning Israeli horror film JeruZalem on January 22nd, 2016. The new trailer is awesome, and features a blink and you’ll miss it Cloverfield type shot of a massive beast roaming the streets of Jerusalem. The superb looking horror has been acquired by Epic Pictures for US distribution, and a press release has been sent out confirming the films US release date, and with it comes a fascinating and intense new trailer. But because of these things it is still enjoyable. There’s no question that the found footage genre of horror is not dead yet, and there’s also no question that The Paz Brothers’ JeuZalem looks mighty impressive. I ain't gonna spoil it, but it was one of the most laughable endings I ever saw. The only thing that I liked at that scène, was that (.) killed (.) when (.) became a laughable CGI-thing. The underground scène was actually not that great. The sex scène between Sarah and Kevin wasn't even special. those actors needs to work on their acting again. The CGI is actually the scariest thing of the movie. The characters made so stupid choices that it wasn't even dumb anymore, but annoying. Later in the movie, things became a little bit weird. I thought that was the best part of the movie. Lucky, when the 45 minutes are over, it starts good! In my opinion was the "we must go the gates" scène, the best "We have to get out of here" scène ever. But then I took 15 minutes extra and I just felt bored. The intro took 45 minutes and that was just too long for me.
